WCAG 1.2.2 Video Captions Demonstration

This page demonstrates WCAG 2.1 Success Criterion 1.2.2 Captions (Prerecorded) Level A compliance.

Goal: Videos can be played with captions.
What to do: Provide synchronized text for audio content in existing videos.
Why it's important: People who are deaf or hard of hearing can understand audio in videos.

WCAG 1.2.2 Requirements

Success Criterion 1.2.2 requires:

Captions are provided for all prerecorded audio content
Captions must be synchronized with the media
